• 2026-10-18: make /daylog be automatically created based on an /data/activity file

• 2026-09-25: added /daylog, which I will use instead of /daysout. I'll use it as a general log of things I've done in days to be able to look back on. I don't have any complex code around this yet, and will need to build something out.
• 2026-09:24: added /aotw (Art of the Week), and made the first entry.
• 2026-09-20: added /ghibli. Yet to add /tarantino.
• 2026-09-19: added filters on /blog to allow for filtering by post kind and language.
• 2026-09-16: added support for multi line ul and ol as long as I continue it with spaces at the start, and also added ytembed (which means Music of the Day now actually has videos!)
• 2026-09-14: brought over /portal, though it looks slightly ugly since the raw tags don't work yet. How long can a man avoid doing necessary work? (Clearly a while)
• 2026-09-13: added /music, though the subpages, /music/{compositions, typeset, instruments} still need building out.
• 2026-09-13: added /motd including a tags page for this. However after this now the code needs some serious cleanup.
• 2026-09-13: added /colophon.
• 2026-09-13: made it so posts marked as is_draft are not published on the index.
• 2026-09-12: resolved certificate problems where gabbott.blog was not included on www.gabbott.blog cert
• 2026-09-12: added /uses.
• 2026-09-12: fixed the bug where a .yaz file with a domain provided (like "gabbott.blog") gave links that didn't start with https://, so that links wouldn't work. Fixed it by adding https:// where no other :// exists.
• 2026-09-12: added /slashes.
• 2026-09-12: there is now a list of tags at the top of /blog, and this links to actual indexes of blog posts for each tag
• 2026-09-11: added the /now page.
• 2026-09-11: released the new website on https://gabbott.blog, and made the blog post Blog Update (3) detailling this

Outstanding Issues

• Add /tarantino.
• Need a way to show information conditionally. I think the way is to use a substitute tag with prefix="..." suffix="..." and then also have a ifblank="no-display" option. The code for prefix, suffix, ifblank needs to be moved out of specific tag logic and made more generic.
• Pictures and assets need to be sorted out
• The code is a state atm - the actual information about site structure should not be in the code itself.
• No information in the entry pages on when the entry was last updated, language, etc.
• The HTML gen code does not have many features I would like, doesn't allow ul entries across multiple lines, etc.
• The website can be slow to load for some reason sometimes.
• No /portal, /wv, /daysout, /music, /images, etc.

Features to add

• A mailing list for music of the day, so that you can recv an e-mail with the new music for the day.
• Make yaz able to be used by other people by adding to git repo etc.
• Transfer the code over to the server from the local machine.
• Make an android application to write blog posts on, and same for my local computer.
