I wrote a response-of-sorts to two entries of Bard's about rain and snow...
And I got it tested a bit yesterday. On the walk home from work, the sky opened up, and it tipped it down. My clothes were totally soaked within about two minutes, and I still had fifteen minutes of walking before I could get home.
It was lovely. I felt so happy. I ended up appreciating even the little things, like a little boy being carried by his mum, with a little hat, who kept on squinting and pulling a funny face because of the raindrops getting in his eye.
After a while I wasn't even trying to rush home. I was just enjoying the rain, and the feeling of being totally soaked. Smiling at people standing under trees to try and avoid the rain, and they'd smile back.
