(This is entry 45 of #100DaysToOffload)
In 25 for 2025, I noted that I want to read 20 (probably should be 25) books in 2025. What books will I read?
I'm going to try to read ones that I already have on my bookshelf as opposed to starting new ones.
(green = complete; yellow = reading currently)
- Khaled Anatolios: Retrieving Nicaea
- Jane Jacobs: The Death and Life of Great American Cities
- Kierkegaard: Fear and Trembling
- Kierkegaard: Repetition and Philosophical Crumbs
- Mary Wollstonecraft: A Vindication of the Rights of Woman
- ~[green][Jane Austen: Sense and Sensibility]
- ~[green][Kazuo Ishiguro: Klara and the Sun]
- ~[green][Nabokov: Lolita]
- Nabokov: Collected Poems
- Simone Weil: Love in the Void
- Simone Weil: Venice Saved
- Keiichi Sigsawa: Kino no Tabi V
- Kafka: Der Process
- Dostoevsky: The Idiot
- ~[yellow][Alain de Botton: The Architecture of Happiness]
- ~[yellow][Alain de Botton: The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work]
- ~[green][Alain de Botton: The Consolations of Philosophy]
- St Augustine: City of God
- ~[green][Ian McEwan: The Innocent]
- Robert W. Chambers: The King in Yellow
If I do these, it should put a pretty big dent in the books on my shelf that I haven't read.
It doesn't have a book in Italian: I'll continue reading and hopefully finish Io Non Ho Paura which will tick off that goal.
